Ingredients

  • 2 cups
    blanched almond flour
  • 2 tbsp
    coconut oil, room temp
  • 1/4 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1
    free range, organic egg
  • 3
    free range, organic egg
  • 1/8 cup
    mayo
  • 1/4 cup
    coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup
    raw cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup
    chopped bell pepper
  • 1 piece
    turkey bacon shredded
  • 1 tbsp
    powdered garlic to taste
  • 2 tsp.
    basil
  • 2 tsp
    cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Crust:

    -In food processor, blend almond flour & sea salt

    -Then add egg & pulse until mixed.

    -Then add coconut oil & pulse until dough forms into a ball.

    -Place dough into pie pan...spread evenly.

    -Bake crust @ 350° for 8-10 minutes until golden brown

    Filling:

    -Cook crust 1st

    -Spread onion & bell pepper evenly on crust.

    -Wisk eggs, milk & mayo in a small bowl.

    -Then pour egg mixture over onions & bell pepper.

    -Sprinkle garlic, basil & pepper over mixture.

    -Then sprinkle cheese & bacon on top of that

    -Bake @ 350° for 18-25 until quiche is solid & cheese is bubbling.
